Samsung Galaxy A53 Overview, Price:
Here, we will discuss the full specifications and price of the Samsung Galaxy A53 5G.
Design, Display
Compared to its predecessor, Samsung has made little to no design changes on the new Galaxy A53 5G. The phone has a similar-looking rectangular camera bump with a matte finish on the back while the front has a punch-hole cutout in the center. It measures 8.1mm thick and weighs 189 grams. Likewise, the available color options are Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Peach, and Awesome Blue.
On the display front, the 120Hz sAMOLED screen of the Galaxy A53 5G replaces the 90Hz one on the Galaxy A52. However, the brightness level of 800 nits stays the same. This is an FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution panel with a pixel density of 405ppi. Additionally, Samsung has used Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front to protect the handset from scratches.
Performance
Moving on, the Galaxy A53 5G is powered by the in-house Exynos 1280 chipset. It’s the company’s latest mid-range silicon fabricated on a 5nm process and is aimed to enhance the overall multitasking experience. Similarly, the memory option includes up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The handset also supports Samsung’s “RAM Plus” feature, allowing RAM expansion up to 16GB.
Things are going pretty well for Samsung’s latest mid-range phone on the software front. Galaxy A53 5G is guaranteed to get 4 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates, while it already boots on the latest Android 12.
Cameras, Others
Camera-wise, there’s a quad-camera setup at the back led by a 64MP primary lens with optical image stabilization. Accompanying this is a 12MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 5MP depth camera. The 32MP camera on the front is housed on the aforementioned notch for selfies and clearer video calls.
Besides this, the phone enjoys an IP67 rating making it dust and water-resistant. The Galaxy A53 5G can reach 50% in 30 minutes as its 5000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging.
