Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus Overview:
Okay, let’s get into the overview of the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus.
Design
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds+ has a similar design to the Galaxy Buds. Here as well, the buds is in-ear fit with no stem. Both the ear tips and wing tips are provided in different sizes, giving you the option of finding one that fits your ear perfectly. The earbuds are a little heavier than their previous version—6.3 g, to be exact. And the case has lost little to no weight, making it 39.6 g in weight. It is available in five colors—black, white, red, blue, and the delayed dark blue.
Sound Quality
The Galaxy Buds Plus improves on the already impressive two microphones on each earpiece of the Samsung Galaxy Buds, increasing their count to 3 yet there is no Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) provided.
However, more mics are helpful as they improve the sound quality of your voice when calling while filtering unnecessary background noise. In addition to that, the ambient mode gets a boost, making the sounds you want to hear more apparent to the ears. Besides, the codecs supported are SBC, AAC, and Samsung’s SSC.
Battery and connectivity
The Galaxy Buds+ can hold 85 mAh of battery, a huge gain over its non-premium version. It can last for over 11 hours of regular use or 7.5 hours of voice calls. Additionally, the capsule provides you with 270 mAh of backup, meaning an additional 11 hours of playback.
Besides, you can connect Buds+ with Android and iOS devices using the Galaxy Wearable App. The connectivity is made through Bluetooth 5.0, which can maintain a connection up to 10 meters away.
