Vivo Y33s Overview:
Design and Display
As with most Vivo phones, design is among the main selling points of the Y33s. Here, you can choose between Mirror Black and Midday Dream options. The phone measures 8mm if you exclude the camera bump. Likewise, its weight is listed at 182 grams.
Coming to the display, here you get a 6.58-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution. There is a waterdrop notch on the top to house the front-facing camera. It boasts 96% NTSC coverage and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.6%. It even has an eye protection mode that filters out harmful blue rays.
Performance and Memory
Running the show underneath is the 12nm-based Helio G80 chipset. In addition to the 2x Cortex-A75 + 6x Cortex-A55 core setup and Mali G52 GPU, the chip brings MediaTek’s HyperEngine gaming technology. Moving on, Vivo Y33s is available in a single memory configuration of 8/128GB. The phone even lets you add 4GB of virtual RAM.
Camera
Vivo Y33s flaunts a triple camera setup at the back. Leading the photography front is the 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) for videos. Accompanying it is a 2MP macro camera (f/2.0) that lets you go as close as 4cm to the subject. Finally, a 2MP portrait sensor completes the setup.
Over on the front, you get a 16MP selfie shooter. Interestingly, the phone supports Night mode on both its rear and selfie cameras.
