Performance
Vivo Y36 is available in 4G and 5G options depending on the region. The only difference between the 4G and 5G models is the chipset and the color options. The 4G model runs on a 6nm octa-core Snapdragon 680 SoC (6nm), the same as its predecessor. On the other hand, the 5G model consists of MediaTek Dimensity 6020 (7nm) as its SoC. The former comes with Adreno 610 GPU while the latter features Mali-657 MC2 GPU.
Both devices have 8GB RAM and support an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. They both have native 256GB storage that can be expanded to 1TB with microSD. Overall, the performance of the 5G model is better than the 4G.
Display and Design
Vivo Y36 has a 6.64-inch “Ultra O” LCD screen with a center-aligned punch hole cutout. This is a Full HD+ display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and 650 nits peak brightness. The device has a dynamic glass design. You can find the fingerprint sensor on the side for easy unlocking, and the back of the device features a square-shaped camera module for a modern look. The phone is 202g in weight and measures 8mm in thickness.Vivo offers the 4G variant in Aqua Glitter and Meteor Black, whereas the 5G model is available in Crystal Green and Mystic Black colors.
